This game is awsome hands down. If you love history get it, even if it is not 100% accurate. NIce change from all the modernised combat games out there. This game runs fine on my computer, a few hickups now and then, but so awsome. It does have trouble running, so dont run anthing else while you play this, unless you have the machine to do it.

I only rate this game five stars because I know what it is SUPPOSED to be like. Please add support for Macbook Air!!!!

This is a fun game with an intersting storyline and it autosaves often however it does suffer from some minor technical issues. I ran this game at very high settings and it ran fine for the most part however i did encounter some slowdown in the framerate and crashing at times but the game ran mostly smooth.

it would be great to lower the requirements so i can play like most games instead of it not able to past the first intro without it crashing

This game was somewhere between good and okay. It was worth playing all the way through: if you love history, then you will probably enjoy how the game goes through different settings and time periods. The guns were somewhat limited, but still fun to use. My macbook pro is a late 2011 model and while I havent touched the game in a while I dont remember having too much issue, except when you open the game may have to fiddle with the video settings to get it to work, but if you figure that out, its worth a try. I believe i bought this on sale, so my recommendation would be to give it a shot if you can find it on sale again.

This game runs SO slow and badly on a 2.93 i7 iMac 27 inch it’s a joke. Even with all the settings set to low, if you went full screen without black bars at the sides, you’ll want 2560x1440…still runs SLOW. Any other resolution you choose won’t be full screen. The PhysX benchmark test is 16 on OS X….since I dual boot this machine I tested on Win7…THAT benchmark on the EXACT SAME HARDWARE is 22. Get on the ball devs...

Love the concept. However, its so laggy and buggy its unplayable. Im using a new Retina display MacBook Pro I bought four months ago. Trying to make this game work properly is enormously frustrating.

I downloaded the game and it looks like it could be a lot of fun, however the game tells me that my computer doesn’ t meet the system req’s. Trust me my computer is more than adiquite to handle this game. I don’t know what the problem is please fix.

Game is buggy is not fit for human consumption. Had so much promise...

I opened it and changed to fullscreen in the settings and now its a black screen. Everytime it opens its a black screen now.

According to the advertised system requirements, my computer DOES meet and exceed those requirements, but every time I open the game it will not go any farther than maybe 10 seconds into the intro and then crashes, and if I try to skip the intro it crashes immediately upon trying. I have tried opening this game now more than 10 times and each time produces the same result. Wish the App Store had a way to refund people...

I am requesting a refund. This game is a disfunctional mess. Completely broken. I should have read the reviews.

I played Darkest of Days on my Xbox 360, which was below average at best. But when I purchased it on my laptop in hopes of playing it, the game does not even start! The program starts and I’m face to face with a black screen. I can’t even play the game!

the game is better than it looks. the graphics are great and amazing battel feilds also its a game hat lets you go from ww1 to the battel of little bighorn great history of wars i love it i highly recomend it.best non expensive 3d war game.

Where do I get my money back?

This game looks good in the description, but it is not worth 10 bucks. The game just does not last very long, and the cutscenes are too long

See Start up screen then fails with what appears to be a malloc (memory allocation) I paid for a game and all I got is a interesting failure report.

Besides taking an hour to download, this game won’t play despite proper System requirements, It has a problem with Yosemite compatibility. For some unknown reason according to the support team that I contacted. Trying for full refund but seems unlikely!!

I bought this a week ago for my macbook pro retina 2013 super laptop. Plenty of excess power to run this game? Nope. The play was laggy for most of the levels but stopped working suddenly after installing Deus Ex Human Revolution which also simply crashes on startup with the familiar old “stopped working unexpectedly” blah blah. I can’t reccommend buying ANY apps from Apple until they can sell things that actually work :0 DO NOT buy this game. No matter the power of your machine, it will not work. Same for Deus Ex, not workable with my $3000 retina 15”Apple laptop. You WON”T be getting your money back EVER from these guys. Just don’t buy from app store, they’ll take your money and laugh.

this game has really given me a lot of good time as you fight in some of the bloodiest wars in the past 200 or so years and i also like how in the wars you have to fight on both sides to keep history the way it was so if you have the union in the civil war or you hate the confederacy you get fight and kill both sides i personally love the confederacy so when i saw you can fight as both i was convincesd this was a great game but please upgrade the game but dont get the game unless you have a GOOD AT HANDLING LAG MAC thank you for reading
